Guido Villa Explores Data Retention Ethics and Regulation in Digital Intelligence Lecture

On November 10th, Guido Villa of Tecoms, partner of Notiones project, was invited to deliver a lecture on telephone traffic analysis as part of the “Digital Intelligence” course organized by LAB4INT academy. Hosted at the Venice Police Headquarters, the event attracted around 300 law enforcement operators both physically present and connected remotely.

The lecture not only delved into the intricacies of telephone traffic analysis but also shed light on broader themes such as data retention ethics and regulation. In the context of the “Digital Intelligence” course, this discussion was particularly relevant, considering the increasing importance of ethical considerations in the evolving landscape of digital investigations. In this context Villa highlighted the activity carried out in the Notiones project regarding the research on intelligence ethics.
