NOTIONES Third Conference 2024

NOTIONES project celebrated on the 21st of May its 3rd conference: Securing the future: Data Privacy, AI and the Evolution of Intelligence. The event was held onside the IoT Solutions World Congress and Cybersecurity Congress in Barcelona.

The goal of the 3rd NOTIONES conference was to delve into privacy considerations within the intelligence and security domain, exploring the intersection of artificial intelligence and safeguarding sensitive information. In particular, Artificial Intelligence and data privacy related challenges and technological tools were discussed. 

During the event, practitioners, policymakers, academia, and industry experts discussed challenges related to AI and data privacy, as well as technological tools. The conference provided a platform to discuss the challenges and opportunities that data privacy and AI are bringing to the Intelligence & Security industry.

Three Keynote speeches were delivered in the conference. The first one about AI in Law Enforcement Agencies (LEAs) by EUROPOL. The 2nd one was about discovering challenges and opportunities in the age of AI and the 3rd one focused on Data Privacy. Furthermore, two expert panel sessions were held, one related to AI and ML, and the other one centred on Privacy and Protection.

It was a very fruitful day where the NOTIONES project consortium together with the external experts engaged in insightful discussions.
