NOTIONES celebrated its 4th Workshop online on the 21st of January 2025

NOTIONES Fourth Workshop was held online on the 21st of January 2025.

The workshop kicked off with a warm welcome to attendees, followed by two engaging sessions. The first session explored online monitoring and AI, with presentations focusing on the critical issues of social media platforms promoting radicalization and the role of AI in addressing disinformation on the internet.

The second session centered on AI and data analysis, featuring expert discussions on the use of AI for policing and surveillance, as well as an in-depth examination of AI legislation at both national and European levels.

Throughout the day, participants had the opportunity to engage with the speakers and share their perspectives through for example, questionnaires, which provided valuable insights on each topic. The workshop provided a platform for experts to share their knowledge, and for participants to gain a deeper understanding of these pressing issues.

By fostering dialogue and collaboration, this workshop aimed to promote a better understanding of the complex interplay between AI, online monitoring, and disinformation, ultimately contributing to the development of effective strategies for tackling these challenges.
